Water Damage Restoration
Effective Structural Drying
Water is the universal solvent. Uncontrolled, water causes warping, cracking, swelling, corrosion and deterioration. In addition, water is the missing ingredient for mold contamination.
An investment in state-of-the-art equipment, combined with ongoing training and testing of our technicians, provides our clients with the best chance to prevent secondary damage and microbial growth. We pioneered the concept of performance based structural drying with our WeDry2 System. More than merely installing equipment and taking readings, REE-Construction understands moisture movement in and through structures allowing us to make quick and effective decisions only experience and expertise can provide.
As an industry leader, REE-Construction participated in the development of the only widely accepted industry standard used in water damage restoration, the “IICRC S-500 Standard and Reference Guide for Professional Water Damage Restoration.”
Chronic moisture problems can cause building components to degrade and create a perfect combination of food and moisture necessary for fungal growth. This is often the underlying cause of health concerns of building occupants.
We are repeatedly involved in the investigation and correction of chronic building moisture problems. Moisture intrusion can come from exterior sources, result from fundamental problems with construction techniques related to component choices such as EIFS, or be caused by problems of unknown origin.
Regardless of how the water got in, REE-Construction is the right call to investigate and correct chronic building moisture problems.
Structural Restoration
Restoring your structure to pre-loss condition
Our name is REE-Construction. An important part of what we do is reconstruct damaged structures. When we are done with a project, our goal is to have restored the structure to its pre-loss condition, not just to hide the damage. You should settle for nothing less.
The combined construction experience of our team is in the hundreds of years. Ranging through all phases of construction, both residential and commercial. We also work with a carefully selected group of quality subcontractors with specialty experience.
Damage restoration is not only construction, but industry specific experience and education in techniques to deal with fire damage, smoke odors and water damaged building materials. Of increasingly special concern are issues like mold contamination and microbially affected structures.
We have personnel with certifications in a number of industry specific areas through such industry groups as the IICRC, the Restoration Industry Association” and the Indoor Air Quality Association . We have south central Idaho’s first (and now second) National Institute of Disaster Restoration Certified Restorer (CR) as well as Idaho’s only Water Loss Institute Certified Water Loss Specialist (WLS) on staff.

Fire Damage Restoration
Our No-Smoke-Odor Guarantee
Not all smoke damages are the same and each type brings about different conditions that must be dealt with accurately in the property restoration process. For example, restoration techniques required for a protein-based fire are substantially different than those employed in a primarily cellulose-fueled fire.
Many times people are concerned about lingering or returning odors in a fire damage. Improperly restored, a project can look perfect, but odors can remain. Understanding what makes up the odor and how it might be located in hidden areas can mean the difference between a project done right and one that may look good (but still smells bad).
While some in the industry still resort to covering up or attempting to seal odors into a damaged structure, REE-Construction believes in source-odor removal as the primary method for odor control.
We participated in the development of and adhere to the RIA’s“National Institute of Disaster Restoration Guidelines for Fire and Smoke Damage Repair”. These are the only current industry-wide guidelines for proper restoration.
Our experience and training gives us the confidence to offer a no-smoke odor guarantee for any structure or its contents that are restored by REE-Construction according to our specifications.
